Once again, we would like to thank all participants for their presence and engagement, as well as our sponsors and patrons for their support, which made the workshops possible.

During the workshops, participants:

  • learned how to weave krajki (tablet-woven bands),

  • hand-shaped their own clay vessel, just like our ancestors did,

  • discovered early history and traditional craft techniques,

  • explored our early medieval-inspired clothing and equipment,

  • took part in a lecture and a reconstruction of daily life in the past.

Take a look at how our September RekoCzyny workshops turned out!

WORKSHOPS

One of our most important goals at Chudoba is to share the knowledge and skills that were everyday essentials for our early medieval ancestors.

There was a time when everyone could weave fabric by hand, prepare clay for pottery and firing, or start a fire with flint and steel. We’re not saying that supermarkets or AI chatbots are bad — but we believe it’s worth pausing for a moment and looking back.

We invite you to explore our workshop offerings and discover a piece of that old, simpler world.
